I have had the opportunity to work with Gregory on two occasions, for two different destination photo shoots. The first was my wedding, where he traveled to Montana to document our entire 3 day wedding weekend. We came away with so many amazing shots incorporating every inch of our beautiful location. The second occasion was when he flew to Oahu to do our family shoot on the beach. He has such an eye for natural beauty and landscapes we just had to have him come out and document our Hawaiian vacation with our new baby. Moreover I want to highly recommend him as a gay friendly wedding photographer, he is wonderful at providing classic wedding shots as well as being sensitive to our needs as a couple. My wife and I were extremely pleased and we have already started recommending him to our friends!
Trash the dress wedding photography is a relatively new concept. But it’s one of the most romantic and fun opportunities for creating keepsake images. Trash the dress is based on the idea that the amazing clothes couples buy for their celebration, should only be worn once as they embark on a lifetime partnership.
Couples tell us that there’s no better way to celebrate this commitment than to jump in the water with all their clothes on! Many love the ocean as we do, but our custom trash the dress shoots have happened in pools, bathtubs and even the occasional horse stable. We encourage our clients to push the boundaries in the name of fun. Our favourite shoot is the one that hasn’t happened yet.
If you’re the sentimental type, you can save your fancy clothes for generations to come and arrange a special outfit for this shoot. We’ve had clients discover beautiful garments at second hand stores that are just begging to be trashed; as well as clients that get dresses or suits especially made.
At the end of the day, it’s not the clothes that matter, but an adventurous attitude, a sense of fun and the willingness to just go for it. If you want to make history with your love and take away some unforgettable memories, then please don’t hesitate to run your trash the dress ideas past us.
